What assessments does the clinic offer?

For certain medical treatments related to gender dysphoria, a medical provider may require a letter of support from a mental health provider before moving forward with surgical (and in some cases, hormonal) care. Our therapists are trained and skilled in assessing people regarding the impact that such services may have on their gender dysphoria symptoms, in addition to the person's ability to manage mental health concerns in light of the major physiological changes they undergo. We adhere to best practices determined by the WPATH Standards of Care-Version 8.

Is couples counseling or individual therapy part of gender-affirming care?

All counseling, including couples counseling and individual therapy, is gender-affirming. Our approach provides a supportive, collaborative space for individuals, families, and couples exploring their gender identity or preparing for gender‑affirming steps. Our approach centers your lived experience, autonomy, and goals. Whether you’re seeking emotional support, navigating social or medical transitions, or simply wanting a place to reflect and grow, therapy offers a grounded environment to process your journey at your own pace. We focus on resilience, self‑understanding, and empowerment—helping you build clarity, confidence, and well‑being as you move toward a more authentic life.
